|08:04 am - Clara McDonald|
Clara McDonald turned 80 last year. She was still in charge of several committees. She had just come off of a term of serving as the Chair of the Board for the FUMC. She was a participant and avid supporter of the theater. She was actually in the first three productions. During the dress rehearsal for A Midsummer Night's Dream, she had a problem with her knee and had to withdraw suddenly, and she never felt quite able to come back. But she never missed a show and she never failed to support what we were doing, both as a theater and as a church.
Clara McDonald passed away this morning. She had suffered a stroke that left her left side paralyzed, and she was barely hanging on. I can imagine that she found that situation intolerable and is now on her feet again, reorganizing heaven.
RIP My lady. Have a great new adventure.
She's the hot one in the leather.
Maybe heaven's gain but surely our loss.
truly a great loss for us
do you know when the funeral is?
We will miss her very much. :( I just wish that we had been able to go to her funeral.

Re: My mom
She was a wonderful inspirational lady, and I liked her a lot. We dedicated the next Downtown Youth Theater show to her memory.
